Badral Yondon
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Badral Yondon is the CEO of Mongolia Quest and oversees the company’s operations. His career in tourism began while he was a university student working as a porter at a hotel in Ulaanbaatar during the democratic revolution in 1990. Since then, Badral has emerged as a leader in the tourism industry of Mongolia and is committed to supporting the culture and heritage of his country while also protecting the bio-diversity of its fragile ecosystems. He graduated from the Foreign Language Institute in Ulaanbaatar and the Klessheim Tourism and Hotel Management School in Saltzburg, Austria. As one of the founding members of Mongolia Quest, Badral has explored much of Mongolia’s vast countryside, sharing his knowledge of Mongolia’s unique culture and biodiversity with many hundred visitor over last 25 years. He serves as a Chairperson of the Ulaanbaatar Tourism Association and a board member of the Arts Council of Mongolia. Badral speaks fluent Russian and English.

Chimgee Ganbold
CO-FOUNDER, GENERAL MANAGER
Chimgee is a founding member of the Mongol Ecology Center. Prior to establishing MEC, she worked at the United Movement of Mongolian Rivers and Lakes as well as the Agriculture Development Project as a project manager. Native to the western Mongolia, she has accumulated a wealth of experience over the years, working with local communities as well as the government. She takes pride in being a part of the MEC team to contribute towards the conservation of ecosystems, strengthening Mongolian park system and working with children, to offer them a better future. Chimgee graduated from the University of Agriculture and received her MA from the University of the Humanities.

Orkhon Tsolmon
OFFICE MANAGER
Before joining the Mongol Ecology Center in 2014, Orkhon has worked in the tourism sector for over a decade. She was worked as the manager of the Baigali Uud tourist camp in Hatgal Village, Hovsgol Province. She’s passionate about protecting the environment and traveling.

Ariunzul.G
PROGRAM MANAGER
Ariunzul.G has extensive experience in media and communication, and nonprofit field working as a journalist, communication and program specialist at local and international organizations in Mongolia. She is passionate about the role of communication in programs focusing on creating social and behavior change through awareness raising and environmental education. She holds a M.A degree in Communication for Development and Social Change from Temple University in Philadelphia, USA.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Sodbileg.M is passionate about the environment protection, and education. He was majored at International Relations from School of International Relations and Public Administration. Before joining the Mongol Ecology Center, he worked in management and marketing consulting, NGOs, and development projects. He enjoys hiking, playing basketball and football.

Bumantsend.T (Bumaa)
PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Bumantsend.T (Bumaa) graduated from Albion College in Michigan, USA with a bachelors degree in Economics and Management. Prior to working at Mongol Ecology Center, he has experience working for Rio Tinto Mongolia as a Business Analyst. In his free time he likes playing basketball, reading interesting articles/documentaries and playing with his dog. He is passionate about helping the environment and contributing towards sustainable growth in the youth sector.

Bilguun Bayarmagnai
GRAPHIC DESIGNERG & MEDIA COORDINATOR
Bilguun.B holds a bachelors degree in graphic design from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. In addition to working as a graphic designer, he is passionate about drawing comic strips, write as well as contributing to the environmental conservation, education, animal rights and social equality. His hobby is travel and watch movies.
